Hello, Here is a rare ESP/LTD Stephen Carpenter SC 500 Artist Guitar. The Guitar is from the beginning of the millennium around 2001, or so. It is in the Beautiful GREEN coloration that screams DEFTONES!!! An amazing neck through design that offers solid tone, and excellent sustain. Neck is straight as an arrow, and the frets are full with NO Fretwear anywhere. The Guitar has been updated with all Seymour Duncan USA Pick ups, and a special design Zebra in the middle for a highly usable tone. Seems like his guitar was handled more then actually played. The guitar has a nice dent on the edge by the back that you can easily see. Looks much more highlighted with the camera pics.and is not as bad as it looks in the pics. You can see pic for a detailed look. There are a few little marks here, and there, some scuffs, and some slight worming on the back by the belt area. There are 2 tiny nicotine marks on the headstock, but really not that bad at all. The completely bound 24 fret neck is a dream to behold, and playing is effortless. No fretting out , and with a semi medium action fast runs, and other fretboard acrobatics perform flawless. The Jumbo frets have been polished, and shine like mirrors. The rosewood is a beautifully grained piece, and the board was treated with Raw Linseed oil. Upgraded electronics with a Seymour Duncan SH 6(Distortion in Bridge) a Zebra boutique pick up in the middle, a Seymour JB NECK Junior in teh neck, a Genuine Fender Strat 5 way switch, a genuine PRS 500K Pot for the volume, and a Nobles 500K tone pot with a .223 pf Capacitor . The guitar was completely rewired, and soldered by a professional, and the tone is nothing short of amazing. This Guitar KILLS all. Going through a MESA BOOGIE Tremoverb Head, and Mesa 4 x 12 RECTO cabinet the TONE was pure Brutal, Rip Your Head off Gain.Massive LOW END with droppped . Strong MIDS, ripping Leads, and BASSY Thump power chords are the name of the Game. Crystal clean tone on the low gain settings, and when using a Fender Reverb Amplifier the tone was so classic that you would not believe this is a Metal Guitar!! Yes, there are a lot of good tones inside this Guitar. There is a Hard Shell case with the sale that is in great shape(TKL) If Deftone type Metal, and other Styles of Heavy riffage is your thing, Then You will be happy to own this Stephen Carpenter SC 500 Guitar!
