It´s a computer with a built in multitimbral, 8 voice DX synthsizer.
It´s very easy to edit sounds but you need a cassette recorder or a
special floppy disk drive to store the sounds and who cares doing that
these days. I use mine as a bassline module. The manual is of no help. Easier to program than an
ordinary DX synth. You can assign your sounds to two separate outputs.

Features: 4
8 voice polyphony, no pitch bend function, the standard master
keyboard, Yamaha Yk-20 is very sturdy but very lame too. It can
play the 4 different sounds at a time, in mono mode you can use some
cool portamento effects and mix two sounds and detuned them and so on.
Old fashioned MIDI capabilities. The machine came out in 1983-84 I think
and it was very expensive. There are some programs
to the computer itself, sequencers and stuff, but they are out of time
and I doubt you can use them in any serious music production.
