Actually, your 'Silverburst' is one of the rarest of treasures - a "pre-serial number" Shamray Custom Shop export guitar... (there are only three of them in existence, the 'KW-LP', the 'MRW', and your Silverburst!) so its probably more properly known as "DP-0001".
I guess for your next one, you can choose either serial "DP-0002" or "CS-0009" (or whatever number we are at then...)

I think, that's not really important what the exact serial is because in my oppinion every CS-000X will be unique! Those guitars will have a really strong kind of spirit... I mean, the 2003 series of Shamray Custom and Standard Guitars will allways be an important part of shamray history(/hope that's right! Please tell me if it's not true *g*)!

I think, that serial number is very important thing! Because When Shamray Custom becomes a great firm, that guitar will cost a thousands dollars, and it will be a great piece of memory for Daniel and For Alexandr!

@teKILLa : ...erm, that guitar allready costs more than a thousand dollars now... I think in some years this masterpiece will be about 3000 dollars or something like that, or even more...
and I didn't want to say, that the serial is not important... If you read my post exactly, it means , that it is not so important wether the serial is CS0001 or CS0009. i just wanted to mention, that every CS000X Guitar will be about 3-4000 dollars minimum if shamray gets more known... Because the quality of handbuilding is really imense... Even if there are big names like PRS you won't get hand-shaped bodies and necks... they are all even if only partionally built by machines... so there are many PRSs that are exactly the same... you won't get a guitar that is exactly the same like a CS-Shamray ( unless you clone it like they did with the fender of Hendrix... but even then you won't get the same feeling out of it...) ... Therefor I hope Shamray does never change the philosophy of "manufactured custom guitars" into "partially manufactured custom guitars"... (even if they do, the early CSs would become more and more unique)...
