Congratulations Mats, on the birth of your new Shamray Custom Shop instrument (serial number MRW-02)! For the curious, here are the specs on MRW-02: Detailed specification of Guitar: MRW-02 ‘NO-CASTER’
Custom hand-built “1951 no-caster” replica. Finish to be ‘thinnest possible’ nitro lacquer.
Body & neck: Ash body... “AAA” maple neck. (’no-caster’ headstock shape) Petrified wooley mammoth (mastodon) ivory nut Binding: no binding. Hardware: Chrome ‘vintage’ 3-saddle tele bridge. Chrome gotoh “vintage fender” machine heads w/metal buttons. Electronics: one volume and one tone, 3-way toggle switch (USA). Oil-in-paper cap. 100% cavity shielding. Knobs: 2 chrome metal ‘tele’ knobs. Pickups: two Chernishev “vintage” alnico singles (bridge wound to 10K) Case: molded flight case. Strings: roundwound ernie ball 10-46 Special: Headstock logo: SHAMRAY in spagetti-logo style, Notes: Neck profile “chunky-D” (1951). |

If you for instance  should start on this guitar could it be possible to have the neck tinted a little so it does not shine that white and new.It´s ok with new things, but nowadays it seems like they newer turn old |

well, the ibanez "monkey-grip" for one... also, we decided to make it a DOUBLE-CUTAWAY, something along the lines of a BC rich mockingbird...  < BR> < BR> (just kidding) Shamray was trying to tell you its just a rough-outline, the 'nocaster' fine shaping details arent done yet |
