Thanks Michael for the changes.  Looks great.  I really would like to have a LP with a wraparound.  The three piece top should look interesting.

If you have seen old refin 54's they had three piece tops. That's the way they did it back then, because they were goldtopped.  I have the original bookmatched wood for the CS1959 that was warped that wasn't used, and the sister piece of the wood on the CS1959.  I will take the bookmatch of the first pieces for the outsides seeing that they weren't thick enough for the middle of the CS1959 and then one of the sister pieces for the middle.  The other half of the sister piece can go to anyone who wants a great looking top for a PRS or Tele.  I will take a breath now!!!:lol::sweat:

I am rounding up the parts Michael.  I am definitely going to get Dave's inlays again.  I think I will get Jason Lollar P 90's.  I will order Pigtail music wraparound tail piece.  Plastic parts humb, not Lazyparts.

On P-90s, make your decision carefully. Whilst the Lollars are supposed to be really good, consider that they are constructed in a totally different manner to 'regular p-90s'. So if you are after full blown vintage p-90 tone, you may have to look elsewhere. I honestly can't see any reason why anyone would not order a set from Wolfe. I think he is absolutely at the top of his game, plus he is alot cheaper than many others...

Jason is actually a friend of mine, he has fixed and wound about 6 sets of pickups for me.  His strat pickups are unbelievable.  I will look into Wolfes.   Thanks for the suggestion Jon.  All types I will consider.

Yeah all the control cavities are through the Mahogony.  In some cases the control cavity is carved out after the maple top is put on.  The earlier Les Pauls were done this way.  If you go on the LPF and look on some post you will see some examples.  It's a really good learning experience on the LPF.:)

offtopic: the LPF is also a policital party in the netherlands, lol.
very liberal actually, but the party is falling apart (well, for the
last 3 years or so, but ok).

the netherlands is like an extremely small country, around 234523 times smaller than texas :) and it only has 16 million citizens, so according to american standards, the country side is very close to the city part.

Im from the country part btw. very close to Germany.

ah, thnx lennart, i forgot that americans have another definition
of 'liberal'. and indeed, the netherlands is SO small, there is
almost no difference in countryside or sity. for example. NYC is
almost the same size as our country, with almost the same
amount of inhabitants.

I feel like I just had a Geography-Goverment class.  Shamray Website not only great for hooking us up with guitars but learning different countries backgrounds.  I think it's great that you have an opinion on what you think your country should be doing.  I don't mind learning from others at all.  It amazes me that even though we have the Atlantic Ocean and a vast amount of land between us but we still have very similar issues with Government-Political agenda's.

well, the issues are still the same, but the way each governement
deals with that is different.

and steven, yeah, i agree with you, this place is very good for
getting to know other people who play guitar, and who are most
of the time foreigners for you (btw: i dont know if anyone thinks
the word "foreigner" has a negative charge to it. if so, I'm sorry,
cause here, our translation of foreigner is considered very
offensive...thats why :-P )

Foreigner is a Band as far as I'm concerned.  We have the same red Blood.  And by the Way Lennart, both sets of my Grand Parents were from Denmark.  I don't even preach that I know American government that well, so if you want to think that way no big Deal.  I am a professional trainer, I train Highschool, College, and pro athletes to get ready for their upcoming seasons.  I don't even have time to read the paper sometimes.  By the way LPF stands for Les Paul Forum here Aheight.
