Congratulations Paul on the birth of your second Shamray Custom Shop instrument (serial number CS 0077)! We will post pictures of it's construction-in-progress from time to time here in this thread. For the curious, here are the specs on CS 0077: Construction Method: LEFT-HANDED LP-style, (336 replica) set neck + top Material for neck: ONE-PIECE Mahogany Neck features: EXTRA FAT ROUNDED 54 profile 26@nut, 27@12th Material for fretboard: Brazilian Rosewood (pre-ban, 50 years old!) I checked his 54 neck and its actually THINNER than the original specs i gave you. But this one will still be a tad fatter than a '54. Neck will still have a round 'baseball bat' profile.  Here is the revised neck thickness 25 mm @ 1st fret 26 mm @ 7th fret 27 mm at 12th fret also - the client's American TOP WOOD IS HERE TODAY (i'm bringing it to the shop this afternoon...) |
