it is my understanding that cs1985 shipps, then cs0074. (mine), my tentative date was 15th or 16th.

actually... i am STILL waiting for Shamray to ship 0060, (which he took away last week!) 
- 0056 is right after that (followed close behind by 1985 and 0074)...

I dont know - they havent given it back to me for (re)inspection yet. I will look at it today 
If that schematic really isnt viable, (not uncommon with schematics published on the web!) then we could wire that mini-toggle as a phase-switch instead...

id wait for confimation of michael - but yours should be next to ship any day now (assuming the switch is sorted) as shamray replied to 0060 saying its on its way and i know that was infront of mine, then its yours and then its mine

STATUS UPDATE: I am told the switch problem was solved in my absence, so i will be giving the guitar its FINAL INSPECTION tommorrow.
No news on a shipping date - apparently we are still waiting for "the case guy" to bring us the (custom-made) case. Stepanov was hinting today that he thinks we could be waiting for the case another TWO WEEKS - i hope to get more information on that tommorrow...

Shamray says 'the case guy' is SUPPOSED to be bringing your case today. I hope that this will be the case - and that CS-0056 going to be ready for it's final inspection tommorrow...

!!THE ICEFLY HAS ARRIVED!! (15.5 months after this thread started)
I tested it briefly last night, I like it!
The sound is quite clear, as expected with white Korina.
Of total of 21 switching possibilities, I found that there are 6 distinct different tones possible.
Talking about switches, Michael, how was the problem with the switch schematics solved? The problem was solved during your absence. I'm curious if the scheme was changed.
If I will find some time in the future I will do some sound recording and post the clips.

the schematic you gave us was "bogus", in that when we wired it as shown, the center mini-toggle (series/parallel switch) didn't function properly. (it was acting as a MUTE SWITCH instead!)
So we changed the middle mini-toggle to a PHASE SWITCH, so that at least the middle switch could do something useful

The website has been updated. The Icefly is still my no1 guitar, but I am not fully comfortable with the TOM bridge, it takes a while to get used to it. Nonetheless a great guitar!
