I'm hoping we get A BUNCH of guitars out in april. Right now i am still awaiting a formal shipping schedule from Shamray & Stepanov...

Like so many other guitars in out shop right now, STILL no idea when they will complete this. :-(

Shamray is supposed to give me a timeline MONDAY...

CS-1988 is currently #9 on the shipping list, and the tenative ship date is APRIL 26th

We are completing it right now. Tomorrow (as I hope) your guitar will be ready and Michael will check it. He will send you the pics before I'll send the guitar.

Here are some first pics of the completed guitar. Only TRC and strap buttons left. IMO it looks really really awesome. Can't wait to play it myself!!!

awesome guitar bro, i love the inlay work
looks wicked!
but i dont think you should have laquered the rough "paint sanded" bits, it takes away from the character

still, other than that, its a perfect guitar
it just needs the eet-fuk sticker to complete it

The client will provide his own custom-made replica paper stickers! :-)

He can also remove the gloss from the 'bare wood' lacquer if he wishes (using 800 grit sandpaper)...

Sry for the lack of updates. First things first:

The guitar arrived friday evening. It felt so familiar in my hand that I decided to play the gig we had yesterday with it. It really sounds and plays awesome!!! Maybe I'll have to do some adjustments to the neck. It's way to early to give a full review but my first impression is very good. Thanks to everyone at Shamray, to Mr.Shamray and Michael! Thank you very much.
