I really like the wood and styles you used. Awesome guitar man, looks like a PRS headstock right? Looking good, let's hope your parts have arrived.

Yeah, that's just the PRS headstock. The (almost) straight string pull makes a ton of difference...

I agree with Q, the wood definatly is very beautiful. I never was a huge fan of SG's, but this one is just stunningly beautiful with all the flamed and rich coloured wood. Who knows, maybe SG's have another shot with me now that I have seen one as beautiful as this!

According to the credit card records, the backordered Ghost T-O-M bridge shipped out (by itself) only 2 days after they had shipped the rest of the shipment (which arrived here last week)
So i am expecting it to show up "any day now" .. been checking at the post office every day. Tommorrow, maybe???
As soon as the bridge DOES show up, we are looking at about 2-3 days for the completing work, and then another couple of days for inspections and play-testing...

At last - your GHOST bridge is HERE! Actually, because it was back-ordered, Graphtech were kind enough to send it "EMS Global Priority mail", and it actually arrived in Moscow a WEEK ago!
Unfortunately, its been sitting in customs for the past seven days and they only notified me today! I had to gather up a whole stack of paperwork, go across town and stand in line for a couple of hours to get it out. Long day!
I'll be bringing it to the shop first thing in the morning, and completing work can finally proceed

No news today... I think that completing probably wont start til around the 'middle to end' of next week. (We have a bit of a backlog in completing right now - as completing master Dima was just promoted to Custom Shop operations manager)

Yesterday I checked your parts box, and added in a few things that i saw were missing (Schallers, knobs, switch & jack) but I didnt hear any news about it today.

I've been too busy in my reserve under officer school becoming a corporal or if I'm good enough getting to reserve officer school to become a reserves second lieutetant that I haven't had much time to check the progress...
I'm just hoping that my precious finishes without any problems...

It's been two months since there was any progress... And it was actually built to the state it is now in only two months!
You've even had my GHOST bridge for a month now, so that can't be the thing that holding it back now...

some news: it turns out the delay has been due to the headstock inlay... somehow Shamray lost the paperwork for it a couple of weeks ago. They are back on it today!

If they got the pearl inlay done yesterday, then it should be ready for artwork (logo painting) now. Depending on Anya's availability (i'm not sure if she works weekends!) completing could start as early as wednesday or thursday (after the last clearcoat dries over the artwork...)
BTW, i found out that most of this (3 week) delay was due to trouble finding a large enough pearl shell for the oval. Generally we dont make inlays larger than 2 inches (the maximum width of a typical fretboard) and pearl shells being CURVED, its difficult to find one that will yield a larger flat piece...

I love the finish and the woods on the guitar, awesome neck-thru structure and the PRS headstock really fits the SG model well! I wonder how it sounds, I bet it sounds twice as good as it looks.

I'm sure that it's going to have SO much pure harmonics... The bassy EMGs, the bright and clear woods are going to make this guitar sound wicked, and then there's the GHOST bridge to get the supreme acoustic sound, especially because of the superior overall construction. It's going to make this guitar last longer than me...
BTW, I got to reserve officers school... 15 weeks from now I'm going to be an officer cadett(an officer student in a week) and then on the 6th of july I'm going to be a bonafine reserves second lieutenant(highest military grade you can become without going to the military university, and just in the normal military service)...
